Description

It was found during an excavation in Pesaro. Is a roman bronze copy of a Greek sculpture of the V century b.C. Is a very elegant piece of art, and it has been a source of inspiration for many sculptures during the XVI century. Is exhibited in Florence at the Archeological Museum, given by Vittoria della Rovere.
The mold used to execute the bronze work using the lost-wax casting process was produced directly on the original sculpture by Ferdinando Marinelli Sr., and is currently in the collection of the Fonderia Artistica Ferdinando Marinelli
