Description

The sculpture “Farnese hercules” of the Archaeological Museum of Naples depicts the mythical hero in a moment of rest from his famous twelve labors. It leans against the club from which the skin of the lion of Nemea hangs. That of the Museum of Naples is a copy of the bronze original created by Lysippus in the 4th century BC
