Description

The Moses by Michelangelo is a marble sculpture, that may be dated from about 1513 to 1515, preserved in the Basilica of San Pietro in Vincoli in Rome, on the whole statuary conceived as Tomb of Julius II.
It is one of the most famous sculptures by Michelangelo and of Western sculpture in general.
