Description

The hand-sculpted Carrara marble sculpture “The Dancing Hourae” is a neoclassical work by Carlo Finelli. The work is inspired by Canova’s “Three Graces” of which Finelli was a great admirer.

The Dancing Hours were sculpted in Rome between 1814 and 1815. They are now kept in the Hermitage Museum in St. Petersburg, Russia.
